Key component for monitoring the position of electron beams
Beam Position Monitor Blocks (BPM) can provide an accurate measurement of the particle beam position and allows operators to precisely monitor the accelerated beam. They are critical components in many particle accelerators, especially inside synchrotrons, in which particles travel in a circular motion and around a fixed-closed loop path, making it a challenge to determine their position at a given time. PMB can also provide type SMA feedthroughs or buttons, welded or not on the BPM block, with a high accuracy and a long and qualitative life span.
